Art History Brand: Zwilling
During the summer of 2017, I attended one of Art Center's many Summer Intensives: BrandCamp. It was a program that took a deep dive in Graphic Design and Branding. This project was created during class and was an attempt to merge graphic mediums from the past with more modern ideas that we can relate to. For my project, I chose Pop Art, a very bright and energetic style in which I merged with Zwilling knives. The idea started off with me drawing logos of famous brands like Apple, Microsoft, etc. which didn't take me anywhere. Later, I accidentally drew and orange with some shadow that looked like the orange itself. I added a knife right in-between the two oranges, added an explosion and voila. The first portion of this project was created with color paper and pens, later recreated in Adobe Illustrator.
